Filtertron questions

Post by DesmondWafers » Thu May 25, 2017 9:04 am

To those with filtertrons, how's the hum? I've had quite a few gretsches, but mostly dynas and hilos. I was under the assumption that filtertrons would be completely hum free, being humbuckers. The middle position is actually hum cancelling, but both my treble and neck pickups have quite a bit of hum.

I've got a jag with TV Classics as well as a G6138 Bo Diddley, also with TV Classics. Both are as low-hum as any standard humbucker.
The artist formerly known as mbene085.

Same here. Quietest guitar I own.
