Fender Mini Pot Nut Size

Does anyone know the nut size for the Fender branded mini pots? Fender part# 0054458000 is the pot in question. I received one of these with some other parts to upgrade my Squier VMJM, and the nut included with this particular pot is stripped out/machined incorrectly. It almost looks like someone took a dremel to it but it was new in the package. I'm going to the take the mini pot and the other mini pot's nut to the hardware store to try to find a match, but if anyone knows the size that will make things a lot easier. I believe the thread density is 32 like the normal sized Fender pots.

I would love to know the answer too. I just got a mini pot in the mail and it's nutless

I did a little more research and made my way over to the hardware store. I believe the nut size for the Fender branded mini pots is 1/4-32 UNS. This is a special nut size that I found impossible to find in the hardware stores near me. Unfortunately, I ended up ordering a new pot just to get the nut that I needed.

Thanks for the link. Ask me how many mini pots I have laying around without nuts...

The answer is now zero! And I have extra nuts. The next time this question comes up, I think I will just send a couple to nuts to whomever needs them.
