60s Classic MIM Jaguar
Hey I just traded for a 60s Classic MIM Jaguar and trying to get the tremelo set up. The person I got it from installed a Mastery bridge. This is not my first Offset but Im having some issues with this one and not sure what the problem is. It keeps going out of tune with the tremelo and it makes a popping sound sometimes. I set it up twice and both times once it was finished it would still go out of tune. The guitar came with stock 10 inch strings you think thats the problem? I usually set up my Mustang with 11s and everything on that works perfectly. I tune a half step down should I use 11s or 12s for the tremelo to have proper tension?

Sounds like it's binding in the nut slots which is sadly fairly common straight from the factory.
It's almost never anything to do with the bridge or vibrato.
