Curtis Novak’s stealth jazzmaster humbucker
Does anyone have any experience with one of these? I just replaced my bridge with one and there’s a considerable drop in volume compared to the stock pickups. It’s a 62 avri.

Yeah I have one - be sure that the polepieces line up with the strings.. the early ones didn't have the fake slugs so you couldn't see if the humbucker under the cover was aligned properly (happened so me couple of times).. if it's misaligned it will be very quiet
other than that set the height accordingly (this one needs to be set higher than standard JM pickups) - normally it shouldn't be any volume drop, more perceived loudness with the mids of the humbucker

If I drop in a neck and bridge of these, does all the hum disappear?
