For help with setups and other technical issues.

Have only heard good things about Les Trems; slightly less ugly than a Bigsby ;)
Thanks for the suggestion, I will have to try one out to see how it feels. They are definitely clean looking hardware. The Bigsby has a certain autorama vibe I will grant you that.

Hi!
it's a bit off-topic, but how does the Harley Benton sound with its JM pickups? is the bridge PU high output or vintage? (does it deserve a special topic?)
Well, I can't really tell you in fact... The guitar is tentatively pickup-less... Plus I never had any Jazzmaster to compare !

That said, the quick test I made let me heard a good set of pickups, but what I maybe afraid off is their sensivity to hum...

I plan to install a Bigsby B5LH and a roller bridge on my cheap 2nd hand Harley-Benton Jazz-like JA60LH-OW 8) :
But OK, it's not a true Jazzmaster...

Where'd you find that Bigsby anyway? I'm looking for one, that model. The ones with the longer tails don't seem to go well with the Jazzmaster body, which isn't symmetrical about the centerline on the bottom.
It's a Bigsby model B5, nicknamed "horseshoe". I buy them on eBay.com . Note that it is a Lefty model - for RH models, you also have the licensed model B50, which does not exists in LH. That said, yes, the Duesenberg Les Trem is a good working device too, and if you change your mind, it's no issue. Another very good variant of the B5 is the Duesenberg Super Tremola, that would also fit on a Jazzmaster :

I use one with great success on my LH Fake Project Dano 59 "Minerva Verde" - in LH version ;) :
