Thanks for the suggestion, I will have to try one out to see how it feels. They are definitely clean looking hardware. The Bigsby has a certain autorama vibe I will grant you that.

Well, I can't really tell you in fact... The guitar is tentatively pickup-less... Plus I never had any Jazzmaster to compare !
That said, the quick test I made let me heard a good set of pickups, but what I maybe afraid off is their sensivity to hum...

It's a Bigsby model B5, nicknamed "horseshoe". I buy them on eBay.com . Note that it is a Lefty model - for RH models, you also have the licensed model B50, which does not exists in LH. That said, yes, the Duesenberg Les Trem is a good working device too, and if you change your mind, it's no issue. Another very good variant of the B5 is the Duesenberg Super Tremola, that would also fit on a Jazzmaster :
