Hi All,
A customer brought a CP JM in with a string problem. Apperently the slots of the nut are to far worn out and the G string is almost flat on the fretboard.
I heard positive things about the Tusq nut, so I advised to replace the broken nut with a Tusq one.
So, what model/Type of Tusq is a direct replacement/drop in for this guitar? (preferbly item nr. and discription) as I don't want to order a wrong one.
I would prefer a Ivory/White one as it would suit the guitar better cosmeticly.

Well, first off, you don't necessarily need a new nut. You can shim the nut to raise it up a little bit - you can use a piece of business card for this.
If you do find that you absolutely need a new nut, I think this is the one you want.

According to the parts manual, the CP JM has the 0994920000 nut, which has a curved bottom.
