Replacing the tremelo arm holder???...

Post by PorkyPrimeCut » Thu Dec 07, 2006 6:52 pm

Unfortunately I can't post any photo's of this problem. Once my body's back from getting "sorted" I'll post some.

I've got a tremelo arm that, supposedly, fits a Pat Pend tail piece but the bit that sticks out (the cylindrical part the arm slots into) is missing. Was this a seperate part or has something sheared off. From memory there seemed to be a threaded hole under the top plate. Sorry if my questions are scattered all over the place. I'm loving this forum. Getting quick and, it seems, reliable responses from Jazzmaster owners without the "know-it-all" attitude of Denmark Street.
You think you can't, you wish you could, I know you can, I wish you would. Slip inside this house as you pass by.

AKA the "trem collet", IIRC.
Distance-crunching honcho with echo unit.
