Jag bridge

Post by fenderjapan » Tue Apr 10, 2007 3:47 am

I haven't got any problems with it except that the high-adjustment screws an the saddles goes up all the time. It bugs me  >:(
And offcourse you can't see it in the pic  ::) so i took help from my friend "paint"  ;) (the little pic in the right corner)
Can I do something ore should i replace the saddles to mustang?

I would have thought the best solution was to raise each of the saddles and at the same time lower the actual bridge itself
relaxing alternative to doing actual work ...

to stop the saddle screws from unscrewing themselves, put a small drop of clear nailpolish or Loctite (finns på clas ohlson) on each screw. but make sure you have the saddles set up the way you want them first, it´will be very hard to adjust them afterwards.

I had a mustang bridge to a jazzmaster project, so I took the bridge and put it on my jag instead.
I think it lost some tone, but it's not much.
I probebly need to change the strings to a heavier guage, cause the high e string pops out all the time  ???
I never had that problem with the jag bridge
