Ever since I saw this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMzyflexIus" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I have been thinking on wiring my Jazzmaster in stereo. My thought is that when the toggle switch is in the middle position it should have stereo output through a stereo jack when using a y-spliter and when using a regular cable it is just like a standard Jazzmaster. In all the other position it should also be like a standard Jazzmaster regardless of cable. However I'm not sure how to achieve this or if it is even possible. Any ideas?
I've noticed that the ES-355 stereo wiring puts ground in the the tip of the plug so that neck and bridge can be ring and sleeve. But to me mixing like that will only make it a mess. But maybe it is the only way.

Re: Stereo wiring of Jazzmaster?
i used to have a jaguar that i ran stereo.
used the upper controls for the Neck and lower controls for the bridge.
i had a single stereo jack, that i used a Y-insert cable one would use for inserting effects into a sound board.
it worked, but wasn't worth it in the long run.
*with two different amps, i had to ground lift one of them to avoid hum.
