Well I finished this up this morning, so I'll share.
Specs
-Rosser Pine Starcaster Body
-Squier CV Strat Neck w/ Gotoh Tuners
-Wilkinson Half Tele Bridge
-Guitar Madness Alnico 2 Humbuckers
Body is finished with Varathane stain and poly. Neck/bridge and string thru holes all line up perfectly.
I built the harness out of the guitar, even though it has rear access it was still a pain to wire in the guitar. And I did have a minor issue with the neck pickup. The bare wire was shorted internally. I ended up having to leave it loose from everything to get sound from the pickup.
The pickups, to my ear, sound great for the $35 I paid. I will buy more pickups from them in the future.

Pretty cool! Had a maple-neck CV strat and man was that ever a sweet neck for the money. Enjoy it!

That stain looks awesome! I have a Rosser body on the way as well, and I'm starting to piece the parts together.
I'm assuming that poly was wiped/brushed on? Did you fill the grain with anything? Just let the grain sink into the wood? Or put enough layers to get everything even?

Lovely! Love the black with maple neck, like if Gilmour had a Starcaster?
