Lovely looking axe. What neck heel width did you use?

I believe it was standard strat heel width. 56mm or 57mm.

It was the 2 1/4” heel option.

I was wondering if it was 2-1/4" too, as earlier it said the neck pocket was routed larger. The template prescribes 2-3/16" for this feature. It appears in one of the photos that the neck overhangs the body in the pocket area just slightly. Not complaining about this as is looks fine. Just trying to understand which heel was used because the amount of fretboard area is very important when using this specific bridge.

That is a quirk of the photos - there is definitely no overhang. I can assure you that Cross did a very neat job with the neck pocket. It is a beautiful snug fit, not too tight, and not loose.

Hope this helps :)

Hi I'm new to this site... I'm on the hunt for an Electric iix and I thought maybe I could just buy parts or have It made. Does anyone know how much this would cost or anyone know someone who could help me out this??

Cheers
Ollie

I'll thank the previous poster for bringing this thread back to the surface so I could lay eyes on that beautiful thing... truly a masterpiece!

Truth be told, I've never seen an Electric iix tho

Hang around for a while, bro- maybe contact a few people via PM, and we'll get you sorted with a XII of your own.
