That's my belief, that they've finally given up on the ceramic things that people complained about so much.

Of course, now they've gone and fucked with the headstock, using mini-Grovers on there and not beveling the headstock. So it's a lateral move.
Back in those days, everyone knew that if you were talking about Destiny's Child, you were talking about Beyonce, LaTavia, LeToya, and Larry.

Ah ok - so maybe the best thing to do is buy an older one and swap the pickups. (Unless the new one happens to particularly float your boat, although I haven't got a boat and was sick the last time I went on one)
