My bridge is finally in my town.
Only took about 5 days to travel the 70 miles (2.25 travel hours) from Keasbey, NJ to my town on LI.
Can't wait to get it. Will it be there when I get home today? tomorrow? Thursday? Friday?
Who knows?

However, thanks to GilmourD (david gilmour? who knew?), I now know to correctly pronounce Keasbey. So, that's a win.
Oh, man! Mine still hasn't actually hit USPS and cleared customs on the 17th.

And I wish I were David Gilmour rather than just having used him as my namesake. LOL

Ok, sorry, turns out I jumped the gun.
My Tuffset cleared customs on May 16,
It's currently in transit to my town, it's not here yet.
It is now in York, PA and USPS is now "awaiting item", so I guess it's going to be a while until I get my hands (and strings) on it.

Just checked. Same! Ah, US Customs. "How long do you think we can stare at this package before somebody gets mad?" LOL

Popping in to say I can't wait for these bridges to arrive with you all, I'm so excited I've had one eye on the shipping all hours of the day lately, helping the parcel monkey find the way!

Been updating the website with some of the testimonials we've had in - my sincere gratitude to everyone who has reached out to us or shared experiences on here or elsewhere, It is very much appreciated. We love to hear your thoughts about the bridge and how you're using it - Ian Wardle on Instagram was bending strings by pushing the BTB string length, it was a sight to see!

The shop is now open

If you're on the list, you should have received an email with the coupon code. PM me on here if you don't have one ;)

Arrived at Post Office in my town at 5:24 AM, just 20 minutes ago.
Getting closer and closer! woo-hoo!

FWIW, I ordered a tent (big and heavy) on Amazon that shipped from GB and it took a week. This little bridge has taken weeks. oh well, it should be here soon.

Having done GuitarForm for a number of years now, when we send full size parcels they can sometimes arrive in 2 days. But then, insured shipping options for large packages like that are going to start at around $100!

With the Tuffset, we decided early on that free shipping was going to be a big part of the model. This means economy shipping, or else having to charge a higher price for the product - with the coupons and so on, we've tried to find the right balance. But as a consequence, they do take a bit longer than they ideally would - especially when everyone including (or especially!) me is excited for everything to arrive and for you all to try your bridges for the first time.

With the latest wave we've added an option for express shipping to certain countries, and some customers have gone for that. It's an additional charge for a service that advertises 3-5 working days instead of 7-10. Apologies to those who would have taken this option first time around had it been available - the logistics side of things was always going to be a work-in-progress at this stage. I trust that they will be with you soon! Thank you all for your patience.

Dan,
Don't worry, the shipping issues have nothing to do with you. I very much appreciate the free shipping and would
do it again.

You're right, the more one anticipates something happening, the longer it always seems to take.
