Re: new projects
coffee treated all 4 witch hats today, one tone knob was a bastard and is still slightly lighter, but not enough to notice unless you look up close.
as a note, some of the witch hats have larger printed numbers than others.

Where did you get the new body Finboy? Is that the Jagmaster body Terminalvertigo was selling?

Re: new projects
yeah, that pickguard shape and the black inlay and binding are fantastic.
I finally finish building a guitar, go to play it, and then remember, "oh yeah, that's right. I suck at playing... Why did I build another guitar again?"

Re: new projects
decided against the stock jm style pick guard, and had an interesting day. my luthier FINALLY says "neck will be done today, i feel bad about how long it took, come by at 6 and grab it, no charge"
being out of work, obviously this is GREAT news, so i head down, see he is still working on it but notice it is still in one piece, which is good. so after waiting around for 2 hours, i get home to take some pics of it...
something look fishy yet?
HE FORGOT TO PUT THE FIRST INLAY IN!!!
AND he had my other b&b neck that he could have referenced at any time!!
so there isn't much size difference between the first and third inlay, luckily i have spares so i'll be going to another shop to get it installed and HOPEFULLY the neck will finally be done.
this project = hell

Man, sorry to hear/see all of your troubles with this project. I know how it feels when things don't go as planned. I'm glad I was able to help you with it in the little way that I did.

Part of me is really happy that you still haven't refinished that body.

Re: new projects
the finish is perfect, and this project would not be as cool as it is w/o your contributions
