Little update: The Rankmaster is done (look for the NGD thread). Next up: the Charcoal Frost Jazzmaster.

Another little update: The XII is done. I'll post a NGD when I can get some good pics (the sun is making it look a little yellow). Next up still: The Charcoal Frost Jazzmaster.

Hi All - first post on the board.....a long time Jazzmaster aficianado, about to embark on my second JM build, a thinline in charcoal frost w/black masterey vibrato, coincidentally VERY similar to the work in progress pic at the start of this thread. Curious if you have any pics of the finished product, and where'd you get that very cool pickguard?

Thanks,

Chris

That looks like a Decoboom pickguard.

Welcome to the board! It's unfortunately not finished or I would post a pic. It is a Decaboom pick guard.

Update: got the Charcoal Frost Jazzmaster back & will post a NGD soon. I've lost interest in the Shergold so I am just going to sell the body & be done with it but I have added a Bass V that I am going to build. I need to figure out what color to paint it. My guitar tech is telling me rose gold & that would be interesting but I am not sure. Any suggestions?

The Toronado is looking good! I've always wanted one with a Jag tremolo. Looking forward to seeing it done!
