That orange is SCHMEXY!

Curiosity: What's your source on those threaded inserts? Do they make them the right size for a screw that will go through a Jazzmaster or Jaguar pickup without having to drill out the pickups themselves?

Nice! The 4-40 would work perfectly for Jags. Jazzmasters use #3 screws but I don't see 3-48 or 3-56 versions of the inserts... I'll have to see if a Jag screw goes through a JM cover without issue later.

Yeah, I looked for #3 inserts for quite a while, but no luck. I only use this process for Thunderbird pickups, and it seems to work really well. :)

I'm a psycho and I have a Jag (and possibly a JM as well) where I'm going to be swapping pickups in and out on a constant basis to record comparison clips, so I don't want them falling out mid-riff after the 20th swap. :D

You should copy my plug-and-play wiring system. It's not that hard to do, after the initial investment in connectors, heat-shrink, and the clamping tool.

I actually have a wiring solution already that involves connectors with screwdown contracts. Ive been putting them in all my guitars that I take apart lately.

Nice! I've seen those before and they definitely get the job done. :)

These three just need to be strung up, set up, and photographed outside, then they're good to go.

Three new bodies coming through paint. These will be the last traditional finishes for awhile...graphic finishes are coming back. :)

We're adding a bit of original art to the household. "not yet committed" by Frank Strunk III.

I really love how these okoume bodies look with cream plastic front binding. Moe at Moecolors really crushed it on these two.

It's an honor and a source of great joy to see my 8-string bridges being used by other builders. This Serek Lincoln 8 is a real beauty.
