Re: Lowe Shop Notes
Oh man Brad, that one in the bottom right corner there (NRFB-like, sorry, I don't remember your model names very well) is stunning! Love the grain pattern and the bright, almost-orange, tint! They all are, but that one is particularly lovely.

Re: Lowe Shop Notes
Thanks!
I need to opdate my website, but that's a Fireluxe NR.
I havent decided if that will end up with the Lollar Senn Model Ones shown or TV Jones Classics, but I'm pretty happy with that one.
That shape and designing the Ridler are what brought me to OSG in the first place.

Re: Lowe Shop Notes
Funny how we still remember what brought us here, isn't it?
I haven't personally played either one, but from what I've heard of each, you can't go wrong with either the Senn Model Ones or the TV Jones Classics. Both will look classy as hell too!

Re: Lowe Shop Notes
I've played them all, and I won't even try to pick a favorite for tone.
However, for looks I'd have to choose the Fralin Big Single under the P90 cover.
That pickup is more or less a Lowe exclusive because nobody else makes a pickup ring for it.
Lindy brought the Humbucker version to market after he developed the P90 prototype for me, he liked it so much.
More updates...I mount Lollar Model One and Thunderbird pickups using threaded inserts and silicone tubing for ease of height adjustment and durability.
Here's the next four getting buttoned down in the final push for Summer NAMM.

Re: Lowe Shop Notes
This will be the last photo update of the builds prior to NAMM.
All hardware is installed and the instruments are ready for final setup.
The booth and all accessories are ready to go, so now it's time to break it down for the trip.

Phantastic presentation, it deserves a hi-res picture to be used as a desktop wallpaper!

Re: Lowe Shop Notes
Those pickups rings look really cool. I don't think I've ever seen anything like that; do you make them yourself?
Oh, and all the best for NAMM!

Re: Lowe Shop Notes
Thanks!
The pickup rings are my design, but they are manufactured for me by Hipshot, as are my bridges and control plates.
Now it's time to hit the road...this doesn't look like nineteen instruments and an exhibitor booth, but it is.

Cool that it all breaks down so compactly. Go have an outstanding time and get lots of great exposure.

Re: Lowe Shop Notes
We had a blast at Summer NAMM!
I posted and tagged a bunch of photos in a public album on Facebook.
I'll curate and create a few collages for forum posting as well.
Oh, yeah...this happened, too:
