the last few days i´ve been suffering from severe GAS for a teisco TG-64, but there are some details that i don´t like about them, so i decided to perfect the design according to my taste. et voila!

to tell you the truth, i just didn´t have the energy to trace the headstock shape :P  but  i do think it´s a very cool design.

I like your design Jonas. I also like the Tesico 4x2 headstock, but that might make it too much of a copy.

Does anyone remember the JM or Jag on ebay a few years ago that had a handle cut into it like that? It was lying in the case, and the orange velour case lining was showing through. At first we thought it was an orange 'slash' painted on the black body.... then someone pointed out it was a cutaway. Too weird.

:o

That first one would be a lot like my three-pickup jaguar project:

which I'll post more about soon.  I'm in the middle of painting the body.

Theres so many cool projects goin on in this forum....

For some reason I imagine that teisco project with some of those big Kay  kleenex box pickups........

That would be  beyond cool... What are you thinking of using for that?

And jetset, what color is it being painted, are you going with a matching headstock? looking pretty awesome so far....

All these projects are making me wanna start my feista red,  binding and dots JM idea.... (im thinking allparts body/neck, vintage pickups that I have leftover, looking for a vintage tort gaurd aswell....)  :?  to bad I'm broke.

there, i changed the headstock on the third one. i must say i like the CBS headstock though. as doug said, it looks less like a direct copy that way. although it looks more like a jazzmaster. but i can live with that.

i haven´t really thought much about it, but kay pickups seem a little too big to look good. i initially thought i´d use JM pickups, but it looked too crowded. i like the p-90s look, and i´ve always wanted to try them on an offset. but i think dearmonds also would look really good, and i´ve always wanted to try those on an offset as well.

Jonas, you should contact Mike at Eastwood guitars- that'd be a perfect guitar for his line!  (and then I could get one!)

We generally will not make a re-issue until the original version sells for $1,000+.
