That's kinda awesome. I'll have to look those bridges up.
The more I fiddle with it, the more I like it. Here is their website. The one I have is the TKS-2 but they're all basically the same thing with diferent mounting plates.

Did I say I kind of like it, right?

Awesome touch on the neck plate too!
If it sounds and plays even 1% as good as it looks, no shoulder annoyance will be able to keep that beauty parked in the guitar rack!

If and when you have the chance and if you don't mind me asking, can you post a sound clip?

Once again, stellar work, truly inspiring.
Yeah, I kind of like it, too. ;D I'll see what I can do for a clip. It might be a bit until I can do that, though.

Excellent work! It looks really good and the grain is dreamy. I'm a big fan of your ground connections as well.
I was really fortunate to have that piece of wood offered to me. The ground connections were a spur of the moment idea. I didn't want to run a whole pile of ground wires over to the PG. With that screw, a length of shielded wire took care of everything between body and PG. It also did the trick between the switch and the pots although I could have just used the copper backing.

I do have a very slight bit of single coil hum so if it bothers me, I can always shield the cavities with copper tape and enclose everything. It's not bad, though so I may not worry about it.

After I plugged this guitar in, I found it had some single-coil sounding hum. The grounding in it checked good. The longer runs were done with sheilded wire so I decided to see if sheilding tape really does help. I took it apart again. During spare minutes over the last few days I stuck copper tape in the pickup and control cavities. Today I finished the sheilding and re-assembled it. When I plugged it in, it was totally silent. With the volume all the way up, it was silent. No sound at all until I hit a string. 100 watts of pure tone. I switched pickups and played a few licks. The dogs ran out. My wife asked me to please stop that. I'm sold on sheilding those cavities. :D

Also, the other day I ordered some black tuner buttons to tie the headstock to the fret markers and pickguard. Photos after they arrive and get installed.

The tuner buttons came today. The photo doesn't seem much different but in person, they really work with the black PG, fret markers and nut.

Fender should have hired you for the mixed reality department, you just proved yourself being exquisitely qualified.
All raise, guys!
Hats off!

OK, last photo. The Roadhouse was designed to fit in an off-the-shelf rectangular Strat sized case.

Thank you. My phone only shows some things correctly. In this instance, it decided to show the guitar as it really looks. Of course, the case would never close with the whammy bar in place but it's there for the photo.

The carpet on the other hand looks like it's been on a garage floor for 20 years. Is this something Apple has designed into their phone cameras? :D

Apple: making average, everyday life look shitty with an iPhone camera since 2007... Sounds about right.

Inside and outside, you get a lot of little details right and they really add up. That is a superb build. Well done!
