Didn't Jess Lourio post on here about a modified Mustang bridge he offers? I think he got kind of slated for it as it wasn't machined from scratch, but maybe those of us without a heavily-tooled workshop at our disposal might be interested.
It was more of a 'compensated Tele-meets Mustang' ...
But yes, anyone who thought it was a good solution could assemble one with brass saddles off ebay ...

That bridge looks great, but I'd be worried about the brass getting deep grooves from a bit of trem use...

This is such an OSG thread. Love it.
Hopefully he can get some apprentice to take over.

I never heard back from John after my request about giving overseas buyers one last chance to purchase, so I guess he's sticking to his plan. Fair enough.
Anyway, the site is back up, and I'm hoping one of you lovely UK residents might be able to help me get a bridge
PM me if willing.
Cheers!

I looked at parcel forwarding services but since Paypal is the only payment option I figured something would get gummed up with the billing address.
I'd put out the same feeler/request for anyone willing to forward to the US.

Slightly off-topic, but has it ever bothered anyone else that Staytrem and Mastery are basically anagrams of one another, barring an extra T in Staytrem?
Intentional tongue-in-cheek reference, coincidence, or grand conspiracy?

That's interesting. Hadn't thought of it. In case of conspiracy, I guess the real question is: who was first?

Mastery, by many years.

I would guess that the name originally referred to the collet and arm (trem stays in place)? I don't know the timeline of the Staytrem product offerings.
My crippling insomnia paid off, I caught the 7.25" Staytrem I needed on Reverb way too early in the morning. I'd still like a Bass VI bridge at some point but I'd probably be better off getting a Mustang bass for my low end thrills anyway.

"We would kindly ask that you do not purchase our products for the purpose of re-selling on internet sites etc, thank you."
Admirable optimism, gotta say.
It's not really my place to comment anyone's business practises, but if I happened to be sitting on designs that are worth tens of thousands of pounds, I'd license them out asap so that no one else would have the incentive/opportunity to just copy and cash in on them.

Sad to hear he won't open it up, but I guess I'm in the same boat as you (pm if willing to ship).
The AOM bridge went out of stock very quickly! Would be interesting to know what his inventory is like.

Any of our UK friends want to send a Staytrem to the U.S.?
Working on a project where I was planning to use a Staytrem.

UK prices don’t appear to have changed.
The Bass VI Bridge is still the same price as the one I bought in August and the Jaguar/Jazzmaster bridge the same as the one I bought in 2013.
