Jaguar - and so it begins

4lb 4oz body. The neck is perfect. Headstock reshaping starts tonight. It seems the cups from my import bridge set are too big. I was going to farm out the paint, but not sure now due to budgetary concerns. Sonic Blue or Burgundy Mist. No matching headstock though. Just not my taste. Looking forward to this!

FYI, guitarpaintguys are running a sale on mistints and overstock colors for $180. The options include Burgundy Mist and some other really nice colors.

Best Guitar Parts. Quality stuff. I went with fat soft V profile. It's a nice handful.

Oh man. Oh man oh man. Those Bullitt and Kyptonite Greens are both colours I've fantasized about putting on an Offset.

I have two builds in progress though, so it would be insane to add another one in green...right? Right?? Haha.

I love the Kryptonite Green too. There's some fantastic purples as well, and the Taos Turquoise would be great on the right guitar or bass.

You and I have very similar tastes. The Vexing Violet Kandy telemaster caught my eye even before the greens, but I already have a Candy Plum jaguar build in progress so I'm set for purple jags!

Love the sheen of a freshly finished body! :)

Can't quite tell what colour it is from this pic. Sonic blue?

Cheers,
J

Yes, sonic blue. I found a pic of an AV65 in that color and fell in love with it

Excellent choice - sonic blue looks amazing on Jaguars :-* :-*

Can I recommend a parchment pickguard to compliment?
