I thought I'd convert my CV Tele to an Esquire, so I ordered an Esquire pickguard. This is what I received.
The packaging even says "Pickguard 50's Esquire". I probably shouldn't have ordered it on April 1st

Aren't there a couple Fender models of Telecaster that they call "Esquire", but are 2 pickups? Seems like Fender fuck-up to me.

Yeah, definitely a Fender mistake. The vendor (Guitar Audio on eBay) already refunded me for the pickguard. I'll try buying a non-Fender one next.
