Anyone done it? I really want one of those new Sonic Grey JM Pros but I need the vintage controls. I know there will need to be routing to accomodate, but I wonder how extensive.
Can somebody do and overlay graphic of the two routing/layouts so I can take a look to see what's involved.

Here's a naked 2019 American Professional Jazzmaster
https://stratosphereparts.com/2019-fend ... onic-gray/
and here's a naked 66 reissue:
https://stratosphereparts.com/vintage-6 ... rst-relic/
So the 2019 AmPro would need the top control route extended a bit, and a bug chunk of routing for the lower control switch.

Are you gonna try this? I also have an American Pro JM that I want to put vintage controls on. What would a tech charge for something like this?TheMilford wrote: ↑Mon Jun 10, 2019 3:24 pmAnyone done it? I really want one of those new Sonic Grey JM Pros but I need the vintage controls. I ended up buying an MIJ instead. Might eventually grab an AM Pro if a used lefty pops up.
