Nice work again man! I wish they had a like button in here.

You should really put some Dynasonics in this ;)

Ha, yes ! It's done on another pickguard option :

But inexplicably, the DynaSonic pickups seems tobe disappointing to me... ??? Maybe I don't use them as it should ?

The Roswell JM sounds much more convincing, as is (I know it's not the same guitar, OK ?) = I'll try to record sample as soon as possible !

And
this is the BorderRadio...
reminds me someone... Curious... ;)

Some quick sound samples to end the story : they'll give you an idea of the tone of the Roswell JM pickups.
Amp = 70s SF DR, clean tone.

Maybe the DeArmonds are too close to the strings. They have very strong magnets, and have a very narrow "sweet-spot" where they sound really nice.

I'm impressed, they sound rather good. Your playing is great as well.

I've probably been quite unlucky with my lefty Harley Benton Telecaster (a total wreck in terms of construction and finish), but its pickup are instead very good sounding.
I'll have to remind myself of these Roswell JM pickups for future projects.

Good job, thanks for sharing.

Well, that sounds like the perfect rock n roll guitar. I like what you can do with it. As Amon says, your playing is great, too.

Thank you Guys ! ;)

Yes, I think that these Roswell Jazzmaster pickups (refs. JM-B-ADWH and JM-N-ADWH) are worth to be considered 8). Here are the links to the Roswell Pi ckups website concerning those pickups - note that they are moreover RWRP 8) :

http://www.roswellpickups.com/pickup/pr ... idx=M26102

http://www.roswellpickups.com/pickup/pr ... idx=M26101

I wouldn't change them for other JM pickups models, I find them very satisfying to my ears...

That said, I did not tested them in overdriven tone, but it aslo worth to confirm : I'll try to do it ASAP... ;)

Those Roswell JM pickups used by Harley Benton are also in the new Squier Classic Vibe JM ...

Yes, it's possible ! Add to this that I use them on a Harley-Benton M-60LH 24" scale guitar - I experimented different the height of the pole all along the available range - from 6mm low to touch the string - but found no significant improvement :

That said, I made a test on a hollowbody project (still under construction) , comaring the Gretsch DynaSonics to FrankenTone Lil' Chesters :

DynaSonics :

Lil' Chesters :

The guitar : a Gretsch Chinese Lefty Fake (here with the Lil' Chesters) saved form trash...

Verdict : I must confess that the Dynas were not premium installed, but anyway they proved to be not better than on the MS-60LH, so I opted for the FrankenTone Lil' Chesters...

Interesting find, timtam ! Thanks to share it... ;)

Indeed, this will give that Squier Jazzmaster a good tone ! That said, I don't know if the tremolo works well... I mean : long bridge-trem distance, low break angle, while this has been improved on recent Fender JM, AFAIK. ???
