To fit some of these HH guitars.

Does anyone make one?

Do you mean a JM pickup in HB format, or a true-JM-sized pickup?

The former can't work - what gives the Jazzmaster pickup its personality is its wide, thin, bobbin and you can't fit that in a HB route. You can get closer with a HB-sized single coil with alnico poles, but not quite there since geometry of a humbucker doesn't leave much room across the length of the bobbin.

On the other hand, a surface-mount type pu' like Curtis Novak does for Telecasters is totally feasible provided there is enough space between the body and strings. You probably wouldn't have much room for height adjustment though. I make those, but I'm based in Europe...Dunno which side of the Pond you're on!

.

The P90-style "JM" nearly exist but have the deeper P90 bobbin with the bar magnets and steel poles. The pole magnet types could be out there but have not seen them myself.

You might wind your own.

Thinness of the JM bobbin will be hard to get the winding count high enough to reach the 7kohms. But that might be a good project.

Rose's 'Mozart' is his 'take on a Jazzmaster style single coil' in HB size. I haven't tried it.

There are quite a few other companies doing usually-P90-ish 'SC in a HB cover' ... either with bar magnets or magnetic pole pieces.

That Mozart pickup is absolutely beautiful. As a JM style pickup, it would sound pretty good, too.

I had the guy at Buddha hand-wind me a set of his take on humbucker-format "Jazzmaster" pickups. They've lived in my Sheraton for the last year and a bit so I've had enough time with them to confidently say that they sound great - and I love them - but they're no JM pickup. They're basically a P90. I chat with Peter Pickupwizard quite frequently and inevitably, I'll ask him again if there's any way to get a JM pickup in that format and the answer is always "nope". Hahahahahaha...
