HNB is our man.
He's literally the OSG Custom Shop guy that deliver the craziest things that are way less than predictable and he never steps back when ideas are throw in the board.

Random forumite: "You know, I'm thinking... what about match-painting the hardware?"

HNB, straight away: "Let me give it a try."

He's darn awesome.

Chris, keep it going, I can't wait to see what coming along with the vibrato plate

So I too have a triple HB split JM with JM bridge and vibrato painted to match the pickguard and pickup rings...I just didnt do the painting myself.

Great minds think alike a lot on this board 8)
That looks like the dark side of HNB's puppy... You ought post a thread about it as they surely make for a great couple once you both have them done :w00t:

Thanks! I think it was a cool idea I hadn't ever tried. I have corroded those pieces before to make them rusty. Never thought to try painting them. It should be interesting when it is all done. :D

Wasn't my idea so I can't take credit, but I think it looks good and works on this project very well. :)

Yes!!
it's already awesome with the white/chromed bridge and it's gonna be so incredibly slick with the matching trem!!
I can't wait to see it done :?

The tremolo came today. I scuffed up the top and edges and got to work. :D

The other parts will stay chrome to give it the two tone look the bridge has. :D

It's ridiculously stunning. :w00t:

Now I guess it's time for the machine heads to follow the style, what about white bushings & buttons and keep the rest of the case chromed?

I could try, but I think when I screw them down the paint would likely chip?

The white plate with chrome bits looks so perfect on this! And there shouldn't be any wear from trem use, same for the bridge (only a bit of scuffing under the saddles if you adjust the intonation).

It suits the guitar so perfectly. Wow.
