Body and parts came in yesterday. Today I added shielding to the pickguard and moved the electronics to the new guard. I got a new switchcraft toggle, but it is junky. Ordered another. It would do bridge, both, but neck was dead alone. I resoldered it. Something is funky with the switch.

Everything sits great on the body.

Painted the body with filler/primer. First coat today. Will lightly sand it and spray again tomorrow.

Applied headstock decal to the neck. :)

So at 2:30am I was thinking in my head and came up with how I messed up the wiring on the toggle. I accidentally switched the bridge pickup and output wires. That is why both worked, bridge worked, but neck alone didn't. I swapped the two wired and now it is allllll gooooooood. LOL  :fp:

An demo. ;)

minus the kurdtz, i approve. tbh if i was to demo it, i would have just played unwound since justin trosper used one.

i've often liked the idea of modernizing these. like update the trem (i have this weird idea of a jazzmaster trem but it surrounds the bridge like a mustang) then have some low output pickups in it (as is my MO, some kind of overwound mustang in the bridge and 70's dimarzio in the neck) but i do appreciate this modernization
