Really narrow pre-slotted nuts

So ...

... my '64 Musicmaster II neck had a citaring issue on the high e-string and I figured I'd take the nut off and put some veneer under it, and well ... :fp:

Does anyone know if any place sells pre-slotted nuts with vintage radius and very narrow string spacing (this one was about 32mm E to e), or do I have to get a luthier to make one?

I tried fitting one of the standard nuts (34-35mm-ish spacing) I have lying around, but the strings are just too close to the edge of the fretboard for my liking.

--- Edit ---
Just noticed on WD Music's UK site it lists 33mm spacing for their own brand of Strat/Tele nuts, that might work if accurate.
I'll give those a go and report back :)
