Jagmaster II Neck

Post by Lost In Autumn » Sat Jul 18, 2020 3:07 am

I just picked up a Jagmaster II body; I'd read that they'd used conversion necks in the construction and assumed that I'd be able to use one of my 25.5" jagmaster reissue necks. It turns out, that's not entirely the case- the scale is off by about 1/4". does anyone know where I could find a Jagmaster II neck? If that fails, I have a thought about modifying a 22 fret, 25.5" scale neck, but for the time being, I'd rather just get the proper part. I've saved a search on reverb, fwiw.

To my knowledge there were only Jagmasters with either 24“ or with a 25,5 scale.
No conversion-neckt
Yours (Jagmaster II ) anyhow should fit a 24“ neck with either 22 frets (2005-06) or starting somewhen in 2007 with 21 frets.
So if you can’t find the precise part - any Jaguar or Mustang or 24“ replacement neck should fit fine!

These are cool guitars!
I can‘t quite get along with their Tort (my bandmate has one with the longer scale but that exact guard) - but there are some pickguard makers who offer replacements in any colour you could ask for!
Also for your interest: CP Jaguar/Jazzmaster screw in vibrato arms also fit on these and look really great and work super smooth! ;)
