Beautiful work as usual HNB. This guitars screams for a cool touch of mint green!

The same thing happened to a friend last year, she was only in her early thirties. I don't know what to say other than how sorry I feel for you and your wife and that my thoughts go to the two of you. This really sucks. Hang in there...

Thanks. I appreciate the positive thoughts. :)

The guitar is almost done. I am just waiting on a pickup screw, strap locks, and strings. It is looking pretty awesome reassembled. :D

Honestly, that's so much nicer than stock. Great work!

There's just something about wood finishes. Looks like a nice and classy guitar now. Are those active pups in that?

Man that's so rad! And you even got the man himself to see it!
I always liked the JR Jazzmaster. Such a cool looking guitar. No frills!

It has the stock EMG pickups Jim Root used to use before he designed his own set for his white version two Jazzmaster. They sound really good. I know some people think actives sound generic or sterile, but these don't. They are great clean or with gain.

I am still giddy that he commented on my post. I know it isn't a huge thing, but to me it is. I am a big Jim Root fan so having a nod from him was a really big thing to me.
