Rotary switch for coil split on Jag.

Post by offsetlover » Fri Apr 05, 2024 5:51 am

Hi.
I've had a Jag modded to be like the Vintera HH split coil Jag.

I wonder if anyone here have done the same, and found any 2-step rotary switches that can be used in place of the volume and tone pots?

From what I can find quickly online, the Vintera HH Jag doesn't seem to have two step rotary switches? Is this something you'd like to have for some further mod?

It seems like the wiring on the HH jag is essentially the spin-a-split mod we're discussing in another recent thread here: https://offsetguitars.com/forums/viewto ... 4642928177

There should be small rotary switches that could be used on the upper control plate, but from memory the ones I've seen are PCB-mount, have a D-shaft and have had 3-6 steps. There are likely other alternatives, but you should probably look for small electronics parts rather than guitar parts if this is something you'd like to implement.
