Will a gold JMJM pickguard fit on a 65 AVRI?

I have a friend with an EGC-equipped JMJM pickguard that I want to put into my AVRI. Will the pickguard fit? I know there are differences between American-built vs the Asian-built guitars, but will I be able to make it work?

As far as I recall Squier actually uses the AVRI template (and so does Fender Japan since maybe 2-5 years at least on Jags) - I had more trouble with the Vintera series (but I mainly work with Jags).
I think Rexter also used a JMJM guard on my Jazzmaster for demonstrational purposes which now sports an AVRI guard.

Edit: Squier JMJM or Fender Japan JMJM? If the latter than you‘ll possibly run into problems. Squier should be fine.

You might have issues with bridge post hole spacing, TOM vs rocking. Not 100% sure on that but likely worth double checking.

i have one on my 62 avri that fits just fine, if thats any consolation
