I was just wondering what neck pickup you used and how the balance is between the 2. I read somewhere that the Vintage splits are medium output around 8k, and I don't want to get a single coil pickup that is too hot or too low for it. Thanks in advance.
Sincerely,
Pullover
Mr. Pullover,

I bought the lowest output lipstick, though I can not remember the exact number at this time.  The Vintage Split is not too hot for it, they balance fine.  But, I am not a fan of the middle position with these pickups. They both sound good enough on their own that I will keep them in, but they don't sound good in the middle position.  Perhaps one of the hotter lipsticks would help.

Your pal,

Did you wire them in series or parallel? I hear that the Danos and stuff are in parallel in the middle position... not sure about this though.
Times change.  Remember when dog Jimmy used to go white and chalky?  Now it grows hair!  We got used to it. We'll get used to poly. -blueavenger
