Re: how do you remove a pick up
what kind of guitar do you have? And what are you trying to do?
All you should need is a #1 and #2 Phillips head screwdriver and a soldering iron.

replace wire for wire with a soldering iron...it's that easy.

Re: how do you remove a pick up
Are you trying to swap in another pickup? If not, is there any reason in particular why you're trying to remove it?

Re: how do you remove a pick up
So, you want to remove the neck pickup entirely and then swap a Dirty Finger HB into the bridge. Is that correct?
If the pickups are mounted in a pickguard you will have to remove the guard to get them out. If instead they have plastic mounting rings, take out the four screws that hold them on (they will be at each corner). Then just desolder both leads from the pickup and pull it out. Reinstall the Gibson pickup the same way you took the bridge one out. I don't know how many conductors each one you have uses though, so if there is a discrepency there, you will probably have to do some research. If new, the Gibson pickup should probably have a simple wiring diagram that you can follow.

Re: how do you remove a pick up
Personally, I only use neck pickups.
Never bridge pickups, unless combined with the neck pickup.
But yeah, you should find better pickups than the dirty fingers.
Something less high output, maybe?
