WD readymade jazzy guards - will they fit vintage?

hey i'm getting totally confused about which make fits what, and even the manufacturers don't seem to know most of the time... still waiting for a reply - erhm, my guess is i'll get the fastest and most reliable answer here.

this guard fit vintage / avri?

From what I have heard, yes. It also looks like it to me.

Better let someone with hands on experience chime in though.

Damn, $80 + shipping. A vintage guard couldn't cost much more could it?
I finally finish building a guitar, go to play it, and then remember, "oh yeah, that's right. I suck at playing... Why did I build another guitar again?"

the price is ridiculous indeed, you can find them cheaper on the bay.

i guess i'll wait until i get a confirm on their fit... :shifty:

These will, apparantly, definitely fit an AVRI. There's a section for 'import' too so that's definitely the right ones, and cheaper. I'm not knowledgeable enough to know if it'll fit a vintage but I'm assuming AVRIs are the same as vintage ones..

i have some vintage parts around that should someday take the shape
of a nice guitar of and should be shot in rotten oly white, like this

i have a 62 neck, 65 body, some US hardware and a set of real nice pus for it.

WD has just confirmed the #1405 guard is for US guitars, so i ordered one.
hope it fits, as you never know... and that it looks somewhat okay.
