There's some amazing stuff being posted here.
Toots, those bodies look nice. they'll make fine instruments.
Verhoevenc, that's a very cool design. I haven't seen anything like it. Makes me want to pick it up and give it a try.
AlkalineHemlock, beautiful JM. Looks great. Love that blue.
Niksureal, outstanding! Pleasing curves all the way around. Nice touch with that pickguard.
Nice work, all of you.

Re: What's on your workbench right now?
Hello friends! I have a question that doesn't need its own thread... I'm trying to figure out if a guitar routed for Strat-sized Lace Sensors (or EMG, or any single coil without a triangular baseplate) can house a Jag pickup with the claw. Without modification to the body, because there wouldn't be any pickguard (I don't have the tools, nor the skills to make it super clean), like this James Burton Tele:
So, if anyone had both pickups at hand, and/or a Jag body with Strat pickup covers to try it out and take a pic for me... I've googled it, there are slightly different measurements, and I can't get my head around it. Thanks!

Re: What's on your workbench right now?
If you don't mind me using a jaguar template, here's how a side-by-side comparison looks:
For a better idea of the difference in size between a jaguar pickup and a strat pickup cover, look'em inside the pickguard:
A Jaguar pu is slightly bigger but you can do a quick test-fit on your actual body just by printing this Terrapin tracing and laying the pickup cutouts inside the routes. Easy-peasy

I hope this helps
