AFAIK http://guitarpartsresource.com is the only source for black pickups covers for offsets. currently they are as close to a one stop shop as you get (for parts for offsets that is). but sadly, shopping from them is a bit of a gamble.

I believe the correct term is "African-American"(replace the word American with whatever country you live in, of course).

we have a few threads in the misc. section about GPR transactions gone bad. most of the time buying from them is glitch free (prompt shipping, good prices etc.) but when they manage to get an order wrong, you might have to wait several weeks before they even answer your emails. on two occasions i had to restort to threats of badmouthing them on the FDP and here to get them to respond. both times they responded within hours after my threats, after weeks of no replies to several polite emails.

That reminds me. Yesterday I was at the Toronto Exhibition and at one of the game stands a woman(early twenties) was operating the place and she had the microphone head set thing that all of the people have and she said "Just a second, I'm just trying to find some different music to put on. There's too much black music on this thing." She was trying to find something to play on the Ipod that was hooked up to the speakers in the thing.

I was shocked to say the least.

Don't yall call 'black and tans', 'half and halfs'? (guinnes/bass mix) Something to do with the English uniforms or something.

cheers for that jonas

really appreciate you giving me the links too
i would be unsure of what fits what if I was going through it myself

I think there is an allparts dealer in the uk? (dont have time to look right now)
so i may get them there as its probably a lot faster and cheaper

many thanks
