Custom Pup Makers

Post by bulrich » Sat Aug 25, 2007 6:37 pm

Can anyone recommend a custom pickup manufacturer?
I know SD does this and it's pricey, are there others?
I'd like to make a custom humbucker for my USA Custom VI, something slightly wider to better match the string spacing, etc.

Thanks much. The tricky part is getting a pup that is wide enough to match the bridge position.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking.  A custom pickup bobbin would be hard to come by.

I've ordered my pickups from Pete recently, we sent a ton of emails to be sure to each other to make sure what he was doing was exacly what I wanted. And the prices are top notch!
