Thanks, it's just an MIM Standard with Am. Std. neck PU, and TX special bridge...

It looks much better than my CIJ tort :)

But is it really that hard to make a "vintage" looking tort.
For exemple. Take a look at these Celluloid tort picks.
Look much better than repro guards, even the knife got vinage lookin tort

I don't know why, but it just struck me as a bit odd that many of us (me included!) lust after vintage tort with just the right amount of texture/figuring/swirl, and we'll all just barf at a body or neck with figured woods (quilt or flame maple).

Just an observation.

Back on topic, really, just how hard would it be to make a vintage correct tort?
