Blocks/dots and binding neck

Post by afunkymonk » Mon Nov 12, 2007 9:14 pm

Where can I get one, and at what price?
Why is Spain? Where are the Snowdons of yesteryear?

Mine came from here http://stores.ebay.co.uk/PTS-Guitar-Par ... idZ2QQtZkm but they don't always have them listed. Quality is ok but it did need a fret level and dress. Vintage specs - heel truss, 7.25" radius, 21 frets. Skunk stripe. Binding is one-piece bent all the way round the heel which is nice - I know some have corners at the heel. Side dot markers are in the binding, not the wood, which is also an issue on some. No nut.

  And then there's this one...

...but with the small "stratocaster" headstock.

edit: And, yes, the dots MUST be in the binding!!! :P
One more guitar, then I'll practice!

Anybody had experience of Musikraft or USCG - will they do the job?
