my 72' Jaguar Blocks measure:

1:  1 1/8      x    13/16
3:  1 5/32    x    11/16
5:  1 3/16    x    19/32
7:  1 1/4      x    1/2
9:  1 5/16    x    3/8
12:  1 3/8      x    11/32
15:  1 7/16    x    5/16
17:  1 15/32  x    1/4
19:  1 1/2    x    3/16

I hope that helps :)

Sure they do. Olivia's sold a '75 Bass VI with B&B not too long ago. I wonder if the pics might still be around somewhere...

So they skipped the transitional D&B phase of 1965 and went straight to the B&B of 1966?

it appears that they made so many necks in '63 that the didn't need any

i believe many VI's that were listed for sale as '63s are actually '64's '65's... maybe even '66's

i don't think they counted on 'em selling so poorly

Jim even said that there were '63 NOS necks around for a while...

i imagine the only reason they stopped using them was because they'd stand out from the rest of the Fender Lineup

Friends! Romans! Countrymen! Lend me your ears!

We simply must find out the exact measurements of the block inlays on vintage Bass VIs!!! This information is crucial to our well-being and the survival of all OSG members!
