Thank you!

I noticed the blue wrappings around the posts, so tube heat shrinks it is! Perfect!

Well done! Of all the "fender-that-ought-to-be" type builds on this forum, this is far and away my favorite.

First off.... this guitar made me join OSG.... It was so beautiful that I needed to be able to tell you!

Secondly - did you ever mod out your second one to have the mastery bridge and Trem??? Ive been thinking about doing that to mine (except for the fact I have no modding abilities at all) and wanted to see how it worked out for you?

That seriously turned out amazing. :?

I worked in the finishing department of a mid-size guitar production facility for a little over 7 years, and worked for a very small guitar refinishing company for about 4. I've sanded a LOT of basecoats and masked a LOT of binding :D And this turned out almost *unbelievably* well. I've worked with people that spent several years getting to this level of quality on metallic finishes, and some just never did get it. I've also seen a lot of really crummy jobs masking binding, and this is NOT one of them!

The most impressive thing to me is how well you did with the F-Holes. That was one of those things that never stopped being the bane of my existence. I knew a couple guys that found the magic formula for masking them and for buffing around them, and eventually I could DO it, but out of everything it was the thing that never felt easy or "comfortable" to do.

And that neck pocket adjustment? Beautiful. The fact you can't see any halos around the filler in the finish is a testament to your spraying and sanding ability. The fact that there's not a bunch of directional scratches in the primer coat that show through the metallic is really impressive as well. I mean SERIOUSLY, I'm uber impressed with your work.

Well done, sir. :)

It's so perfect. Love it.

I've been scheming a 12 string conversion project and I hadn't considered wide range pickups. I would love to hear some clips as well.

Very very well done, sir!

I gotta ask, how is the headstock working out for you without a string tree/retainer?

My Warmoth XII neck should be shipping next week and I'm finding out now how bad you apparently have to bend over and take it on a period-correct-enough string tree.

Did we ever get sound clips of this guitar? I'm dying to hear how the 12 string sounds with the WRHB.

Love this. I just purchased a loaded MP Starcaster body to do something similar. Did the screw holes in the neck heel need to be redrilled in order to make it intonate properly?
