Damn that looks good! Really nice on all fronts, would be interesting to try out the body shape!

What are the pickups in this one? Some earlier examples looked like they had goldfoils.

Yeah, the goldfoils were placeholders until these custom ones arrived.
They are handwound in Melbourne by Mrfabulousguitars.

It's all done and wired up.
Still needs the usual tweaking. But it sounds great. The kill switch isn't wired in because they sent me the wrong one.
It does the opposite. It only works when the button is pushed

That's a feature, not a mistake.

Feature for the bass player, that is.


I do like the pickguard on that design; it complements the shape of the body while being shaped nothing like the body.
