There is just something about the Gretch Clipper that seems so perfect to me. It's just simple. I kinda wish they would reissue it.

Whats the story with that bridge pickup? You make that?

My SA-5 I bought in April, then finally got to see last week while visiting North Carolina. Now on the plane to NZ.
Only could play it acoustically. Whoever owned it before had no idea about setup, so had to that first. Looks like it needs some fretwork around 12th fret area. Other than that, great condition for a 1966/67 guitar. Case also exceptional condition. Hoping for no damage during shipping.

The Ampeg is black. It looks purple due to the lighting. Both guitars are nicely flamed.
