2011 Gretsch Tennessee Rose 1962 FT just in yesterday. It's slightly beat up or well played would be a good way of describing it. I've had a couple of these. The first was resonant and awesome with Hilotrons and I loved it. The last one I had was an anchor and didn't inspire me at all. I'm so glad I went for it again. This one is another resonant, light, awesome sounding Gretsch, and I love the Filtertons, very happy!

How do you like the filtertrons in there? I sold my first 6119 years ago and got another to replace it, but it had filtertrons and I couldn't bond with it. Sold it and about a month ago I got another with the hilos again. Absolutely amazing guitars, probably top 3 for me.

I really like them. I loved the 1st one I had with Hilotrons, but I think I like this one better. I've had other filterton models that didn't do it for me, but this seems like a good one. I know these Japanese Gretsches are supposed to be very consistent and I think they are fit and finish wise, but I've had two that were resonant and sounded amazing, and two that were sort of dead boat anchors.
