Build one side as an EB-3 :)
King Buzzo: I love when people come up to me and say “Your guitar sound was better on Stoner Witch, when you used a Les Paul. “...I used a Fender Mustang reissue on that, dumbass!

Kit arrived today. None of the parts are standard, and the wiring is all pre-wired solderless. So it's either replace everything or use what comes with the kit. Some of the stuff is non-standard fit so I'm not sure yet what can be upgraded or not.

We'll see what happens.

I recommend putting it all together before finishing and try it out... That's how I did the kits I built a few years ago. You may be surprised at how it sounds.

I have just done this very thing with a 12 string telecaster kit and everything is usable apart from the bridge pickup. You should definitely give it all a try before spending any cash.
