BMM parts Telecaster
Finished this up a couple weeks ago.
GFS XGP body, Mighty Mite neck, Mojotone Broadcaster QuietCoil pickups. Plays great and sounds great. (To me at least, which is what matters I suppose).

Oh man. I was wondering how their BMM bodies looked in non-stock photos. Been wanting one (or a double bound seafoam) for my parts-squire. Looks awesome!

Thanks! There are a few imperfections in the finish, little dust blurbs etc. under the clear so if you have discriminating tastes, the XGP may not work for you. However, for a double bound custom color, you can't beat GFS's price.
It's really hard to capture an accurate version of the color as it changes depending on the light.
What really impressed me was the vintage tint Mighty Mite neck. It was way way better than I expected. Exceptional quality for the money.

Re: BMM parts Telecaster
Hey, cool! I really like how that looks. The color is great!
I had one of these bodies (black, double bound). I bought it on sale from GFS as a blem. The blemish was covered up by the pickguard, so that was all good. It was amazingly lightweight, but the shape was just off enough that it really bugged me. The upper horn was noticably (to me at least) wrong, and the area by the output jack was too flat.
I ended up giving it to panaramic, then trading it back so I could build it into a really cool esquire for my cousin. She's still rocking it out.

Looks great! I've been itching to build a Tele for months now. Which bridge is that?

GFS sells one w/o holes so you can make whatever you want.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but may I know if that’s a “purple haze” body? It looks noticeably different from the stock image on GFS. I’m eyeing an offset body in that color, but if it’s that pale I’ll rather go for “cobalt blue”, although I have no idea how that really looks either.
