I posted this elsewhere, but I also REALLY like the aesthetics of the Singing Crane stuff. Here’s mine

The strap is really high quality. Even the brass parts are FAR from generic. Also, the origami, fancy paper, and thank-you note were nice touches!

Am I the only one who uses the skinny 50s straps? They're the only straps in my repetoire

One came with my 1968 Yamaha SA-30t. To be honest, I never even tried it out because I was sure it would break because it looked so skinny and old. I should probably pull it out of the case and give it a whirl.

That is my concern with skinny straps. Plenty of people use them, but I just imagine them breaking.

nah... they're strong. I have never had a concern with any guitars. obviously some straps are better quality than others, but even my flimsiest one is still going strong and I have been using it for 5 years +.

I bought a skinny strap with padding for my 12 string project. It was like $40 but looks and feels way better than expected. It's cheaper than many lesser quality straps. May one day get another one in brown

Since my last post in this thread I’ve ordered two Original Fuzz straps. These have been my favorites so far.

Souldier also makes a good strap, but the seatbelt material is not good for neck heavy instruments.

I got a Mother Mary and it’s ok, but the ends are really stiff and bulky.

I can‘t remember how I learned about these - but I really love RightOn! Straps from Spain!

They have these super-useful pick-holders, are really comfortable, very beautiful, high quality, no slipping off the strap button and and no breakable plastic clasps - and overall very sturdy - which makes it very hard to photograph as it doesn‘t necessarily stay where you want it...

I got them an all three of these guitars (it‘s clamped under the Thinline Jag and a bit harder to see. Also they are not super expensive („just“ around 40€).
I get the point of using security locks and one strap for multiple guitars - but even that would be too much effort and time loss for me (especially in a live situation) also I‘m lazy and hate swapping straps. So I‘m in the „having on strap for every active guitar. My other (older straps are Planet Waves fixed with those rubber rings that were on clip closer beer bottles some years ago.

Also I try to somehow match them to the aesthetics of the guitar - well, my teal cork strap doesn‘t really fit my Sunburst Jag, and I also bought it for my Fakenbaker Bass at first - but I loved it so much that it stayed on there - maybe I‘ll put it on the Vintera OTM Jag instead if I end up getting one! :)

All of my skinny straps came with my guitars, and are mostly still in the case in their plastic bags ;D

Nope. Been playing it for a good 5 months and it's not shed a bit
