i wondered why you were selling that black greco!

this one is a dream guitar!

i think it would be considered a 360wb. a 330 shape with binding and shark fin inlays...
If I was a byrd, I'd be mighty sore every time they shut the door and I don't think I'd sing...

The frets are done on this new Greco i got. It will need a full refret and a nut. Im looking at $400 for the refret and $180 for the nut. Taxes not included. FUUUUCK!

I know, its fucking nuts.

Im getting it done at what's supposed to be one of the better places to get it done in Canada.

The guitar is beautiful tho, id rather take it to the "best" than pay someone $250 less to just butcher my guitar..

Fuck that high end shop, 3 weeks later they hadn't touched the guitar, after being quoted 2 weeks, that combined with the owner being a condescending asshole contributed to me retrieving it from said shop..

Im taking it to the 12th fret in Toronto instead.

What are the Grecos like to play?
They seem properly built, are beautiful, but I've never had the chance to try one of them.

I own MIJ Fender Startocaster (c. 2001) and love it to death.
I've heard that it might become duty-free to import guitars to the EU from Japan. That would be a game changer, as I like Japanese spec guitars a lot - for example the Musicman Stingray EX - built in Japan from US parts.

I know you said the 360 Greco needs a refret, but are the frets gouged? This pic looks like the strings are pulled apart and that a gouge runs across 6-7 frets like the guitar was dropped fretboard down and the G string put a notch down the length of the neck, or is it just a reflection?

I had a Rickenbacker tip over once and the B string put a notch in two frets where it hit and I had to replace them as they were too deep to file out.

Hey Tribi9, I am glad to hear that 12th fret treated you well. I have bought a few guitars and amps from them in the past and always liked the guys there. I have a few old Magnatone guitars that I need some help with ( one I bought from them) but I have been hesitant to bring anywhere because I don't know any "good" guitar techs in Toronto. Would you recommend them?
