It's not too bad...there's not that much on it, so it looks like a well-loved guitar...some people say you can polish it off, but I think it looks fine as it is. It works well with the aged hardware. I too was worried about the VOS thing, but maybe it just photographs weird sometimes. All the VOS guitars I've seen in shops looked pretty cool.

Yes, Zhivago - you may never part with it, now ... I still have mine 39 years later, with her original case. She was my 1st guitar, it was in 1980 :I've always had a thing for sunburst Gibson ES345s, and last week I managed to finally get one of my own.
